Mandrel Release agent
Partfam mandrel release agent is a synthetic lubricant that reduces friction between the hose and the mandrel, preventing the hose from coming out of the hot mandrel during curing. The mandrel release agent decreases the force required to push EPDM and other rubber hoses, such as NR and SBR, onto and off the mandrel.
Features
- A silicone-free, non-sticky product for processing rubber products
- It remains stable at high temperatures and does not leave a sticky residue on the mandrel after multiple curing cycles
- It has no effect on uncured rubber and cannot cause swelling
- It mixes with water and can be simply rinsed off after use
